Alberta man becomes 10th person of 2021 to win $1M or more in lottery

A Calgary man has turn into the tenth Albertan to win as a minimum $1 million on a Western Canada Lottery Corporation lottery brand this 300 and sixty five days.

Greg Gerla gained $1 million on the Jan. 27 Lotto 6-49 assured prize scheme.

Gerla obtained his brand in Lethbridge on the Savers Comfort Store on 13 Avenue North and returned to the store a pair of days later to examine it.

“I had a pair of lottery tickets to examine,” Gerla acknowledged. “I gained $20 on one brand, a free play on yet one more brand, then I scanned this one – whoa!

“I used to be so greatly surprised. I no doubt didn’t imagine what I used to be seeing on the cover initially.”

Gerla acknowledged he plans to assign and invest his winnings, but also use the windfall to interact a brand novel automobile.
