CHARLOTTETOWN – A 35-365 days-musty man from Alberta has been charged with assault after a health worker at the Charlottetown Airport used to be pushed early Thursday morning.

Charlottetown Police express a man and a woman who had been passengers on an incoming flight refused to struggle through the Covid-19 screening middle at the airport.

They express the man allegedly pushed a health worker apart, by-handed the screening dwelling, and left the airport.

The couple used to be later located by police and arrested.

The man has been charged with assault, whereas he and the 41-365 days-musty woman with him had been every issued a $1,050 excellent-attempting in violation of the Public Health Act.

The man used to be released with conditions and is to appear in Provincial Court docket at a later date.
