An unlikely alliance celebrating each and every opera and country music will commence in the greatest regional tour by Opera Queensland.

Are You Lonesome Tonight is the main manufacturing of its kind, celebrating 40 years of Opera Queensland and will bustle for the length of May perchance to June.

Organisers were expecting audiences of up to 10,000 from across Queensland and interstate because the troupe offers 30 performances across 29 local government areas.
The manufacturing tour will quilt more than a Third of Queensland, travelling over 7,000 kilometres across the Sunshine converse.
Mr Taylor said he hoped the performances would effect opera more accessible.
