A Gold Coast school stays in lockdown as police search the space for a man they think is armed.

Folks at Ormeau Deliver School were sent a text message advising them how to purchase up their adolescents safely as Queensland Police searched the space for a doubtlessly armed man in relation to a home violence matter.

“We’ve been told that police are opening one lane of Mirambeena Force, eastbound towards the school, for dad and mother to procure college students,” the text read.

It comes as police confirmed they were referred to as to an Upper Coomera residence on Monday night following a disturbance, after which a man fled the scene.
