A Moroccan court has decided to extradite twin Australian-Saudi citizen Osama al-Hasani to Saudi Arabia, his wife says, in a case that has enthusiastic rights groups.
Hasani used to be arrested closing month upon arrival in Morocco, where he had travelled to be part of his wife and child daughter.
His wife, Hanae, cried as she told Reuters by cellphone: “I didn’t interrogate of this verdict.”
A court in Saudi Arabia has sentenced Hasani, a businessman who previously labored at a Saudi university, to two years in jail.
