Cardi B’s Twitter spat with conservative political pundit Candace Owens ended with legal threats on Tuesday night.
Owens took purpose at Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion following their raunchy efficiency of X-rated tune WAP on the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, insisting their rendition became “an assault on American values”, and including: “We are celebrating perversity.”
Cardi hit again as she insisted any consideration – correct or atrocious – helps enhance the status of the music, tweeting: “She establish my efficiency on Fox Recordsdata giving it more views that boosted the views on YouTube and is counting against my streams and sales.”
The pair’s Twitter spat escalated when Cardi posted a tweet, purportedly from Owens, which read: “Sure, my husband did cheat on me with my brother. Sure, he acknowledged no after I requested to affix them.”
Owens spoke back and insisted that the tweet had been digitally altered, and insisted that she became going to discover her attorneys alive to for Cardi’s “slandering” of her “personal citizen” brother.
