LANHAM, Md. (AP) — Officials in a Washington suburb marked the groundbreaking this week of a mental health medications heart funded by money diverted from a police coaching facility.
Prince George’s County redirected the $20 million for the capability after the police killing of George Floyd, The Washington Put up reported.
The flexibility at Doctors Community Scientific Heart in Lanham will aid address a lengthy-standing disparity in salvage admission to to mental and behavioral health care within the county, County Govt Angela Alsobrooks stated at a news conference.
