LANHAM, Md. (AP) — Officials in a Washington suburb marked the groundbreaking this week of a mental health medication center funded by money diverted from a police coaching facility.

Prince George’s County redirected the $20 million for the skill after the police killing of George Floyd, The Washington Post reported.

The skill at Doctors Neighborhood Scientific Center in Lanham will relief address a protracted-standing disparity in access to mental and behavioral health care within the county, County Govt Angela Alsobrooks said at a files convention.
