LAS VEGAS – Danny Roberts beat Ramazan Emeev with a split decision Saturday on the preliminary card at UFC Fight Night 195 in Las Vegas.
Take a look inside the fight with Roberts, who scored an upset in his first fight since November 2019.
“There was one little shot – I felt it, and I gave it a poker face. It was more so the timing in there. He was dictating the pace. He was moving really slow. (I’ve had) 11 fights in the UFC. I don’t move at that pace. I don’t move that slow. So it was a little strange. It felt like I was in a sparring match. It turned into a little more of a dogfight, and for that reason, anyone comes to me with a dogfight, I’ll always prevail.”

“I’m focused. I’m dialed in. I knew the first round definitely was his. … I knew the second round was possibly mine. And then, 100 percent, the third – I secured it. It was just a matter of seeing what the judges thought. … I thought (30-27 for me) was a bit of a strange score – I’m not going to lie.”
“(I’d like to be back) before Christmas. I’ve got a little bit of a (medical) suspension (with stitches in the) top of my head. … I’m double digits now in the UFC (for fights). I want to keep up with the consistency, and that is going to come now by getting more fights. … I don’t want to slow down. This is my time now.”
