I’ve said it many times — Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Lewis Cine might be the best open field tackler in college football.
The dude simply does not miss and has now racked up 28 total tackles this season, which is third on the team behind Channing Tindall and Nakobe Dean.
The Paycom Jim Thorpe Award, which is given annually to the nation’s best defensive back in college football, has taken notice as well.
Cine was named one of the 12 semifinalist for the award on Monday morning.
