Country singer Granger Smith posted a devastating message to his Instagram account. Smith says his 3-year-weak son died in a “tragic accident.”

Country artist Granger Smith, who’s identified for “If the Boot Fits,” and wife Amber revealed they’re expecting a novel addition to the family in August: “A novel Smith boy.”

The Smith family shared the news with a video announcement on Instagram Friday featuring their two children, London, 9, and Lincoln, 7, and a pregnant Amber.

“I don’t have many words for this video. Life isn’t supreme. Once in a whereas it’s beat up and broken but it’s NEVER hopeless. God guarantees that,” Granger Smith captioned the video. “Our yarn isn’t carried out but, and neither is yours! Thru our struggling and joy, God’s glory radiates via it all!”

Their pregnancy announcement comes almost two years after Granger and Amber Smith suffered a tragic loss when their 3-year-weak son River Kelly died in a drowning accident.

Amber Smith shared the same video on her Instagram page, writing: “God has made a way we never understanding imaginable. If I’ve learned anything over the last 2 years, it’s that I fabricate no longer have as grand control as I assume I fabricate.”

She said she never expected to be pregnant at 39, noting that though the last couple of years have been powerful, they’ve also been crammed with “joy, hope, healing, increasing and grace from God.” Amber Smith also shared a candy message to her late son.

“Sweet Riv, because of the beautiful lifestyles you lived, we are perpetually changed and we are going to proceed honoring your vast, cramped legacy until we advance home to you,” she wrote.

On Saturday, Amber Smith shared a photo of her sonogram and thanked everybody for their congratulatory messages.

“We are so thankful to all of you,” she wrote. 

Two weeks after their son’s death, the grieving parents sat down for an emotional YouTube video to present a firsthand account of “how we’re doing and where we plan to head from right here.”

“We are going to search for each bit of accurate we can accumulate on this situation, the worst situation we have ever been via,” Smith said, whereas sitting next to Amber at their Texas home. “That’s my commitment to River’s legacy.”

Smith recalled the fateful day that changed their family perpetually, saying that “what happened to us that evening defied all probabilities.”

“I was exterior playing with London. We were doing gymnastics in the yard and the boys were doing a water gun battle,” he said. “I bear in mind pondering … ‘Soak up this moment because it’s no longer going to last perpetually.’ Somewhere between 30 seconds and 3 minutes, we don’t know, Amber and I are inner our pool gate doing CPR on our son.”

After taking a hiatus from social media, Granger Smith returned to Instagram in September 2019 and gave followers an update.

“I haven’t said grand on socials lately,” Smith wrote. “It’s no longer that I don’t have anything to say, it’s more that most issues accurate don’t seem important ample to share.”

Since then, he explained, social media has change into unimportant. “We all know that social media has change into a mask … a spotlight reel per say (sic), that we can cloak at the back of and appear to promote our finest moments of our finest days. Eh … that stuff doesn’t matter.”
