Regina Police cling confirmed the identity of remains found in a historical homicide case.

In September 1997, Patrick Cyril Thauberger reported lacking, having final been viewed on the feeble Regina Bus Depot.

Thauberger became scheduled to scoot to Edmonton but he never arrived at his destination.

Human remains that were believed to be his were recovered in a rural home on Dec. 3, 2020. Police cling since confirmed the remains to be that of Thauberger.

Joseph Thauberger, his brother, age 78, became charged with first-stage abolish on Nov. 30 final year.
