Israel will host the World Judo Championships for the first time ever in 2024 or 2025, Israel Hayom reported Friday. The competitors will be hosted in Tel Aviv, both before the 2024 Olympic Video games or in the following year.

The timing is also symbolic of the cooperation between Israel and Qatar, in accordance to Israel Hayom. The competitors will be held in Qatar in the year before it’s held in Israel so as that Israeli athletes compete in Qatar, and the following year, Qatari athletes compete in Israel.

This selection by the International Judo Federation follows three a success Judo competitions hosted in Israel just now not too long ago one of which in the course of the coronavirus pandemic, Israel Hayom reported. The competitors hosted in the course of the pandemic turned into a success due to no conditions of coronavirus infection reported following the competitors and with the historic participation of Iranian Judo champion Saeid Mollaei.



Mollaei,
