Meghan Markle and Duchess Kate May Collaborate on a Netflix Mission

Coming soon to Netflix? Meghan Markle has reached out to her sister-in-law, Duchess Kate, about sharing an inner behold at the longer term queen consort’s existence as a royal.

“Meghan and Kate are actually getting along really successfully and have been in contact more usually,” a source exclusively reveals in the brand new field of Us Weekly. “Meghan has been talking to her about collaborating on a challenge for Netflix, a documentary that will highlight Kate’s charity work and the astronomical impact she’s made along with her philanthropy.”

Whereas Kate, 39, typically follows a more standard route by way of publicizing her tasks, she has considered Meghan’s offer. “Kate is terribly flattered, and it’s all very distinct between them,” the insider adds.

The former actress, 40, and husband Prince Harry signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in September 2020 to create original content for the platform, including documentaries, movies, collection and adolescents’s programming. The partnership, titled Archewell Productions, was one of the primary they agreed to after stepping down as senior contributors of the royal family that March.

“Our lives, each unbiased of each various, and as a couple have allowed us to understand the vitality of the human spirit: of courage, resilience and the necessity for connection,” the pair said in a statement at the time. “Thru our work with various communities and their environments, to vibrant a gentle on other folks and causes around the field, our point of interest can be on creating content that informs but also provides hope.”

A source discontinuance to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex advised Us in September 2020 that they were supplied nearly $100 million for the deal. Upcoming initiatives include the docuseries Heart of Invictus, which Harry, 36, will appear in and govt originate, and Pearl, an animated reveal that Meghan will govt originate.

As for the Suits alum’s bond with Kate, the primary insider reveals that they are “nearer than ever and working on their relationship for the sake of the family.”
