KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri Attorney Frequent Eric Schmitt acknowledged Tuesday his situation of business has sued four massage businesses that he contends solicit prostitution.
Schmitt acknowledged he’s suing A Minute Massage in Laclede County, Blue Lotus Asian Massage in Cole County, Shangri-La Massage in Jackson County and Ella’s Asian Massage in Clay County.
His situation of business is attempting to fetch injunctions to conclude the areas, which Schmitt acknowledged violate public nuisance legal pointers. He contends the businesses advertise on internet sites that solicit prostitution and two of them hold opinions on message boards that describe sex acts equipped on the businesses.
The legal educated fashioned acknowledged landlords on the businesses both did now not acknowledge to contacts from his situation of business or had been uncooperative.
The lawsuits are fragment of Schmitt’s Hope Initiative, which he launched in October, to crack down on illicit massage parlors in Missouri.
