Police minister Bheki Cele on Sunday denied that the police were providing security for ANC deputy secretary-normal Jessie Duarte after media reports that her dwelling had been burgled.
“There is no longer any member of the SA Police Companies that is guarding either Jessie or her dwelling,” acknowledged Cele for the length of an interview with eNCA’s Dasen Thathiah.
Cele, who used to be visiting Lamontville in KwaZulu-Natal after a lady used to be killed by a stray bullet, used to be responding to a report by the Sunday World newspaper that Duarte’s existence used to be it appears in hazard after her dwelling had been damaged into and that in consequence her non-public security had been beefed up.
