Paddle limits in the Uniacke Road neighbourhood shall be reduced to 40 from 50 km/h in the comings days, according to the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). 

The change in the amble restrict is section of the municipality’s initiative “to circulate toward zero fatalities and injuries for individuals using any mode of transportation.”

“Municipal staff continue to assess other neighbourhoods for conceivable amble slice price implementation in the long whisk. Once known, purposes to the province shall be submitted for consideration,” HRM said in an announcement. 

According to HRM, crews will begin posting recent signage in the Uniacke Road neighbourhood, with work expected to pick roughly one week to total.
