ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — San Diego Padres left-hander Adrian Morejon left a start Sunday at Texas with an elbow-forearm stress after dealing with greatest three batters within the first inning.
Morejon threw 16 pitches, leaving after a four-pitch, two-out scuttle to Joey Gallo. He’ll be re-evaluated Monday.
Morejon, 22, became making his 2d start of the season. He worked four innings at dwelling against Arizona last Monday and allowed two runs, each on dwelling runs, and received a no-decision within the Padres’ 3-2 loss.
Morejon appeared in 14 video games for the Padres all thru the old two seasons, including six starts, without a call.
