A photograph of Internal Safety Minister Amir Ohana used to be published on social media Friday showing him shooting at a target marked “Center Bloc.” He later deleted it and claimed the caption used to be placed by Israel Hayom editors following online backlash.

The photo used to be taken from a screenshot of an Israel Hayom interview, when Ohana went to a shooting range for target apply. Ohana later posted the total interview and defined that editors from Israel Hayom added the image and caption, and that in the usual video, he will seemingly be considered firing at a target resembling an armed terrorist.

In a statement launched along with the usual video, Ohana said referring to the upcoming election that “We can defeat our political competitors at the ballotfield – we are no longer enemies, we are one folks.”

Israel Hayom also launched a statement on the controversy, announcing on Friday that there used to be no blueprint to imply enhance for political violence, while simultaneously apologizing for the caption. Israel Hayom eliminated the caption from the video as well.
