Remains identified as missing man at centre of Manitoba homicide investigation

Human stays repeat in rural Manitoba last week had been identified as Clifford Joseph, who has been the sector of a homicide investigation since his disappearance in June.

Human stays repeat in rural Manitoba last week had been identified as Clifford Joseph, who has been the sector of a homicide investigation since his disappearance in June. 

RCMP stated Tuesday the stays repeat in the residence of Stead, Man., some 75 kilometres north of Winnipeg, on July 18 are those of Joseph, 40.

Police haven’t made any arrests in the case, but beforehand stated Joseph’s neighbour in the agricultural municipality of St. Clements, Eric Wildman, was conception of a suspect. 

Wildman was arrested after a confrontation with Ontario police in June.  

Joseph was last viewed leaving his residence on Boulevard 44 East on June 7. His pickup truck was realized abandoned that day no longer a ways from Wildman’s property.

No longer lengthy after, police stated they were treating Joseph’s disappearance as a homicide and the evidence pointed to Wildman, 34.

He fled and space off a days-lengthy search. Investigators issued a warrant and realized an abandoned automobile of Wildman’s containing weapons and copy police dresses.

Sightings led investigators via the Whiteshell Provincial Park residence, and into Ontario. Wildman was ultimately realized and arrested at a residence in Belleville, Ont.

Although no one was injured, Wildman allegedly shot at Ontario police forward of the arrest. He was therefore charged with two counts of attempted smash.

RCMP haven’t released to any extent further well-known features referring to the possible hyperlink between Wildman and the death of Joseph. The investigation continues.
