Almost three decades later, Swedish supergroup ABBA are getting ready to release a new album. The Swedish music legends are also preparing for a virtual tour and Cape Town is on the list! After so many years in music, some folks peaceful ask themselves how ABBA is peaceful so relevant…Although ABBA is relatively popular today, not everyone was a fan of them.

ABBA’S TIMELESS MUSIC

Many folks had dismissed ABBA earlier than they develop to be an international sensation. They prevailed and became one of the biggest music teams on the planet. 

One among their most popular songs, Dancing Queen has us swinging our hips 45 years after its release and anyone can almost instantly recognise Mamma Mia good by playing the first few bars of the music. What is it about ABBA that is peaceful so amazing?

Rod Stephen, co-founder of pop community Björn Again (a tribute act of ABBA) urged the BBC that he had never viewed so many young faces in the gang at the Glastonbury and Isle of Wight festivals. He asked himself how so many young folks were in tune with ABBA’s music. 

“Well, I can wager that their parents perhaps got Mamma Mia! Or ABBA Gold or one thing and played it relentlessly and they got exposed to it.” 

ABBA IS EVERYWHERE

Over the years they have created a massive fan base around the sector.  A 21-year-venerable fan of the supergroup described them as rule-defying and type-defying. 

Speaking about the ABBA Gold album, the fan said: “The songwriting and the musicianship and the voice – the entire lot about it is good so above all else. I assume it’s so creative good really beautifully completed.”

The youthful generation of music lovers also had a taste of ABBA when Mamma Mia! Right here We Go Again hit cinemas in 2018.

WHERE TO NOW?

ABBA has planned a virtual tour that is situation to kick off in Britain early next year. Several cities shall be a part of their virtual tour including Tokyo, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney. Tickets for the virtual tour have already gone on sale. 

Björn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson will also release a 10-track album and have already released two new singles Don’t Shut Me Down and I Tranquil Have Faith in You

The album Voyage is situation to be released on 5 November.
