The sector premiere of Jeymes Samuel’s movie The Tougher They Plunge will open the London Movie Competition.
The Netflix movie will most certainly be shown at the Royal Competition Hall in London in October.
The movie stars Idris Elba, Regina King, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz and Danielle Deadwyler.
The movie tells the story of outlaw Nat Esteem, played by Majors, who seeks revenge on his enemy Rufus Shaded (Elba) after he’s launched from jail.
Samuel said: “It’s a substantial honour that The Tougher They Plunge can gather its world premiere opening the 65th BFI London Movie Competition.
“Rising up within the UK, the competition has at all times been the highlight of my year and I couldn’t gather imagined anything better than to gather my debut movie incorporated in this year’s line-up.”
