Gauteng public transport and roads infrastructure MEC Jacob Mamabolo has condemned the attack on an e-hailing driver in Katlehong, and has known as for legislation enforcement to bring the perpetrators to e book.

The Uber driver, identified as Mulalo, became once taken to clinical institution after being attacked by members of the Katlehong Folks’s Taxi Association, who again and again flogged him.

He has known as on legislation enforcement to arrest the individuals involved in the crime. Mamabolo stated his division has made well-known strides in conjunction with the taxi industry to root out violence in their operations since the Gauteng taxi summit held in Sedibeng July 2019.
